Paul Geday (b.Egypt,1956) is a publisher and visual artist living and working in Cairo. He began his on-going series Scapes, a meditation on the landscape of Egypt, in 2005. Utilising long exposures, intentional camera movement and home made filters to control the amount and quality of light entering his camera Geday’s work is almost painterly in affect.
